EDM #4: Draw a mug

Well, I tried. This is my first attempt at a low-lead drawing. I still have to have a framework of pencil, but I tried doing most of the drawing in ink. There are some obvious problems but I won't name them and maybe they will go away. I enjoyed doing this but it took so long (and was interrupted by an errand that took about an hour and a half) that the lighting changed before I was finished. And now I have a headache. Too much staring at coffee mugs, too little drinking of coffee.

EDM Challenge #2

This is my latest attempt to do an EDM challenge. It was somewhat uncomfortable because I had to sit on the bedframe to do it (We have a waterbed frame with an air mattress right now). I am not sure I will ever get to the point that I can do these drawings "lead free". I had to erase large portions of the drawing a couple of times to get the relationship between the items correct.

Hands On

This doodle was inspired the art of Margaret Storer-Roche. (Hi, Margaret, should you ever see this. I am a fan of yours). It took 4 or 5 days to complete and I enjoyed every moment of it. A couple of my friends think I have a future as a tattoo artist. I beg to differ.
