Drawing Fritz -- the progression

Here is the drawing at the end of the first night. I was excited to have it looking so good. I am not that great at drawing so it almost felt as if someone else had drawn it.



After another hour or two over a couple of days I am to this point:

This little tin has not seen lifesavers in a very long time. It now holds Emily's beads. I just thought it was kind of cute.

This is a quote from the book, Hind's Feet on High Places. The flower (which in the book is yellow) is growing in the desert. It is the only growing thing except for a few straggly cactus and it grows in a place where a pipe drips water every now and then.
